I can't say enough about the value received in the various XLC products I've used. This handlebar is very lightweight and nicely finished. It provides a beautifully graceful appearance for the front of my new bicycle project. I am extremely satisfied.

Love this stroller!

After looking for a long time at different strollers, doing research and playing with different strollers in stores, I finally decided on the City Mini 2012. The main things I wanted in a stroller is one that is lightweight but sturdy, easy and smooth maneuverability, a big full sunshade, a full recline, easily folded, and one that does not take up my whole car's trunk the way the travel system stroller did. This stroller was everything I wanted and more! It's also easily cleaned, and the harnesses are sturdy and easily adjusted. I love it! When I got the box, I was worried because I saw that some assembly would be required. But without even looking at the instructions, I was able to put it together in just a couple minutes. We've had this stroller now for a few months and couldn't be happier!The only things about it that I wish were different is that it would come standard with a child tray and parent console and drink holder. But those accessories are available and easily attached. And actually, I'm glad that these features are optional, because we only attach them when we need/want to use them. When we're traveling and want to travel as light as possible, it's great to have the option of taking the attachments off.

great 2012 upgrades

First of all, I had the britax b agile. I loved the stroller for some time. Until my daughter gained a couple pounds and when I would put her in the stroller the back rest would bend. Then the seat was not upright and she hated being in there.So I went for the city mini 2012. I bought it because the seat is firm and steady. It is also upright. The basket is bigger and more accesible than the 2011 city mini or b agile.The stroller is a little heavier than the b agile. I also like the handle bar it is made out of rubber not foam.What I dont like is the bar where the brake is. Its gets in the way and I have kicked it a couple of times. You cannot fold it when the brake is on for some reason.Overall great stroller not perfect though. I would recommend it.

great stroll but a little tipsy

This stroller is definitely awesome in terms of the look of it, which is sporty and cool, and also the smoothness of the stroll. when my kiddo was born I had a Graco Travel System and I hated the way it strolled, always getting stuck on the road. this is a totally different experience. I will have to say though, that sometimes when I'm in a rush and turning quickly, I feel like the stroller might tip over on its side. it's not as sturdy as the Graco (can't believe I'm complimenting the Graco!) now, maybe this is a result of the CM being a jogger and therefore not having the stability of 4 wheels. but I had to mention it because it's a factor. maybe the GT wheels have better stability? i don't know. the wheels are also a little squeaky, don't know if this is an individual problem with the stroller, I guess I'll contact them about that.i also had a maclaren for a little bit - so small and easy to fit through anything! so I'm not used to having to maneuver to get the back wheels out of standard size doors. that's kind of annoying sometimes. otherwise, i really love to CM 2012. they improved the basket accessibility so that's great, and I like the rubber handle- very comfortable, and the height is awesome. I'm 5'6" and my husband is 6', no problems with height, and no- the bar going across the bottom does not get in our way at all, we never bump into it. not sure why anyone would.

1300 miles later, still no punctures.

Before upgrading to these tires, I used to ride on my stock tires that came with my bike(Vittoria Zaffiro) and had to replace my tubes every month due to the punctures from my unfriendly commuting route. 1300 miles later, still using the same route, but with the upgraded tires, I have had 0 punctures. I used to get one puncture per 200 miles on this route, but so far 0 per 1300 miles!This is for the commuters or utility riders, not for the racers. I noticed this tire was heavier than my old Vittoria when I was installing, but I do not notice the difference while on my ride/commute. Like the other reviewer, it took me longer than the usual amount of time to install them on my wheels, because they are stiffer due to the increased thickness and material, but, in the end, you spend less time/money replacing tubes, because these tires protect your tubes very well.If you are not going for the speed, I believe these tires are for you. If you are racing, you should get the famous Gatorskins, at twice the cost.

So far, so good - but hard to install

I purchased one of these at a local bike shop to replace a Bontrager Race All-Weather Hard-Case 700x28c rear tire that picked up a piece of glass.I've only put 10 miles on it so far (commute), so I can't say much about it's reliability, but it's ride-ability is nice, so far. One thing I don't like about it, is that it was absolutely impossible for me to install on my rim - even with using tire levers. It's the first tire I've had to bring to a bike shop to have installed. I dread the day I get a flat, because I don't think I'll have any chance of replacing the tube road-side.I'll write a follow-up in several months to let you all know how they hold up.[edit - 10/16/12]My nightmare came true - I got a flat the other day after about 900 miles on these tires. A tiny piece of very sharp, very rigid metal worked it's way through the center of the tread of the tire. This tire was so tight on my rim that it took me nearly 15 minutes just to remove it. While attempting to re-install it, I managed to puncture both of my spare tubes. This tire is nearly impossible to install without the use of tire levers - at least on the Bontrager rims that came on my bike from the factory (2012 Trek FX 7.5).I was curious, so I installed them on a spare rear wheel that I had laying around - a 32 hole Mavic Open Pro laced to a Shimano Dura-Ace hub - It certainly wasn't easy to install, but it would definitely be doable road-side without levers, or chance of pinching the tubes. Great tire overall - just very tight on certain rims.

Hardest Tire Installation Ever

One week of use. I'll post Puncture and Wear experience in 6 months.I've installed and used many tires in the last 23 years.The U shape is very wide, making very difficult mounting with two hands, clamps where necessary for me. Once installed both tires had a 9 inch section very difficult to align in pre-inflation process to obtain a circular external shape once inflated.Grip and vibration abortion on city roads commute is great.

Great helmet

This is by far the best helmet out there. Its strong and cool. Plus with the extra cushions, your kid can grow into it. Dont get an XS, get a Small for a 20 month old toddler. They are always growing so fast, it does not make sense to get a smaller one. My son likes it, he leaves it on, its comfortable.

this helmet is awesome because it can grow with them.. it has 3 sets of pads for the inside that alows the helmet to grow with your childs head.. my daughter is 3 and uses the largest pads at the moment.would recommend

I bought this helmet for my 2 year old grandson. I got the bug camo design. His parents were very happy with the helmet, size was perfect and the suspension was easy to adjust and my grandson loves the color. Terrible quality

at first the product seems to be preety good, and it was! but after 2 months it breaks a belt, i thought it was by the weight of things i carry, but for a product that claims to be "GIANT" brand, its not very good quality

I just received my bag today. It's a lot smaller than I anticipated, which is good. I almost cancelled because I thought it would hit my leg when I rode my bike because it looked too big.Anyway, I have not tested it on a ride yet but I have put it on my bike. I actually put in on the front of the handles bars and it fits well there.It seems to be of good quality and the price is great. The side pockets are a great size. The larger compartment looks as though I would hold any accessories that you would need to take along on a distance ride.I will write another review once I actually ride with it.

We thought we can use standard luggage handle wraps but they added so much more thickness. The city grips doesn't add much bulk. Just wish it was cheaper for what it really is.

Better than nothing.

We have a padded stroller handle on our Britax but it feels kind of weird (like it's always dirty for some reason eventhough it's not) so we thought about these. The barely fit the girth of the handle so much so that the velcro seems to be unsticking by itself after some time. The texture is less weird than the handle padding but now it feels a bit too slippery. The good thing is it is washable.
