Brooks Saddles B33 was originally designed in 1938 for heavy duty cycling, the B33 is the only model still featuring stranded rear coil springs and a front loop. Its look gives the perfect finishing touch to a traditional city bicycle. Its strength makes it a good choice for heavier commuters. The honey leather saddle features tubular steel rivets, and weighs 1530 grams.

last seat I will ever need

This saddle ,it is no longer a seat when they are this good, is comfortable and supports in a stable manner. Great looking . Only negative is,I am afraid I need a special lock to keep it.

It's rare today to find such old world quality for much of anything let alone bicycles. With care this saddle will last a lifetime as claimed. However, there is one glitch......keeping the saddle on your bike safe from thieves.

I bought this same model before through Amazon, so this is my second B-33. These are very comfortable and well made, except this time the saddle i received had one of the rear springs not properly aligned which i attempted to fix by loosening the nuts which help hold it in place and twisting the spring into a matching position with the opposite spring, plus the nose of the seat is not aligned as it should be in my opinion. So, it's a good bicycle saddle, but the factory should always make sure they go out the door with everything adjusted properly - They cost a lot of money, very expensive saddle, the customer should not have to mess with it at all, except maybe tightening the tension screw for the leather top. It is very disappointing, but not a disaster and not worth sending back to Amazon for a replacement because the saddle i received was not really defective, just not adjusted properly so i am using the saddle now on one of my bikes and it is working fine.
