Thin cover

I have a bike rental business with approximately 50 beach cruisers in my fleet. I have a wide variety of bicycle brands and seats by many different manufacturers. My bikes that have been in service since 2009 and I've never had a seat cover fail in this fashion. The cover tore open on the seat top on the second rental. Inspecting the tear the cover appears to be very thin.

all that money on bike and lock dont 4get the important

nothing makes you want to ride your bicycle more than feeling like you've been sitting on a broomstick. I'd rather walk funny and be sore as long as i look cool and not have that extra 16 0z of wieght on my bike. Seriously the best 40 bucks i ever spent. i have tried other brands, save your money on the "gel" pads, invest in a good seat and the miles will fly by. I'm on my second avenir comfort plus saddle which is the older version of this and still loving it (took ten years to trash the 1st one, they're tough). got this one for my son's new bike and no more whining 10 miles into ride. Like the smoothness of this saddle compared to "suede" top version, they tend not tot last in the arizona heat and pretty gross when start falling apart. this version looks a little wider in the back than mine (more like a girls seat) but in reality the differance is minimal. I'm 6 ft. and boney and didnt 'swim' on this seat, it rode nice. I ride a crossover and commute 100 mi. a week and weekend wanderer, recommend it.
