Had it for 8 months and still very happy

After researching for a work commuter bike for six months, I concluded that the Pedego City Commuter 48 volt was the best option on the market. It's designed and sold by a California company that has fantastic customer service. The people at Pedego have been extremely helpful every step of the way. I believe that the customer service at Pedego and their dealer (store) in Coronado, CA sets them apart from the competition. It's nice to know that I can call them and get my question answered in a few minutes. Prior to buying my bike, the owners (Don and Terry) were very patient with all of my questions. Since I bought the bike, the service technician (Paul) has been unbelievably helpful. I can tell that this company will stand behind their products for many years into the future. This is even more important when you're spending the big bucks for a serious bike.I like the fact that the bike is powerful, sturdy and reliable. I ride it 12 miles to and from work on most weekdays. In the 1,200 miles that I've used it, I've only had to tighten the chain guard and one electrical connector. The connector pulled apart due to my fault. (I put a plastic tie wrap around the cable on my handlebar and it pulled on the cable during extreme turns.) I appreciate that the Pedego City Commuter is designed with high quality, normal bike parts that can be repaired by me or any bike shop. Sometimes, I like to take my bike on my car rack and this normal bike frame fits nicely. The Fat Frank tires and the seat post shock absorber do a nice job of cushioning the road bumps. If you're a big guy like me (225 lbs.), I recommend that you buy the 48 volt version for climbing hills.After 8 months, I'm still very happy with my choice and I would strongly recommend this bike to anyone who wants a fun, healthy, reliable way to go places.
