Kenda Kwest 1.95

Although this tire is labeled as a Pyramid Kwest 1.95 it is actually labeled Kenda Kwest. This tire is in my opinion one of the smoothest running tires available. I bought mine from Niagara Cycle, delivery was quick and they have knowledgeable staff. The Kenda.com people have no knowledge of this size tires. I have a set of 1.50's also. This is my second set of this tire and I have logged over 5000 miles on them (in one year)Pros: Smooth running/rolling, soft compound grips in turns, wide big appearance on the bike. The tires look bigger than 1.95.Cons: This relates to the soft compound and it is something you live with, it tends to pick up debris on the road. But the shoulder I ride on has lots of ©rap on the side of the road. So like anything you have a feature you like, but has drawbacks, I will go for the handling..

Great tire, but wider than 1.95

I love these tires for my urban cruises. They have fairly low rolling resistance for a fat cushy tire, and they are very grippy in the turns. From what I can tell, these are closer to a 2.05 than a 1.95. They still fit on my bike, so no problem, but be aware.

These are slick tires that are the width of normal mountain bike tires. They run smoother and are every bit as tough, but are a bit heavier than the average knobby tire. I ride them over rough terrain and broken glass daily and have not had a flat yet.
