Product Description
Brooks Saddles B72 was first featured in the 1935 catalogue. It is a light weight touring saddle with unique loop springs incorporated within the saddle, one of the first suspension systems patented by J.B. Brooks back at the end of the 1800's.These saddles are meant for an altogether more leisurely type of cycling. With the great majority of the weight being supported by the rear quarter, the rear part of the saddle needs to be wider. The antique brown leather saddle features tubular steel rivets, and weighs 690 grams.

After trying many "comfort" saddles it was such a pleasant surprise to get this saddle. It gets better and better the more I ride, but it was a major improvement from the very first ride. I was a little put off by the need to treat the leather, but it was a snap. My B72 is one of the best bicycle purchases I have made.

By Kenneth Young
Well made, comfortable saddle. I bought this as a replacement saddle for a used Fisher Klunker I purchased. The previous owner had replaced the original Brooks saddle with one of those large and ugly god awful gel saddles. Elegance renewed, all is right with the world, the Klunker is as it should be.

My first one only lasted thirty years. Perhaps you have to be a fan, or an Anglophile, and that's ok. Pure quality! I have been riding Raleigh's for 60 years doing local and cross country riding, all on brooks saddles. They remain the best.
