I was looking for a cheap alternative to a Kenda commuter tire and found just that in this tire. The Price was hard to beat but as with most things, you get what you pay for. Here are my observations:1. The tires look good except for the uneven reflective stripe that wanders a bit on the sidewall.2. The tires are not 1.75" wide as I was expecting. I was replacing some MTB tires and tried to use the old tubes(26" x 1.5") and could not mount the tires without destroying the tubes. Got them mounted fine with 26" x 1 3/8" tubes, though the tires seem small as the tubes bunched up a little inside.3. The tires are very tight fitting on one set of Mavic rims and pretty tight on a set of Specialized BX23's. I nearly broke my tire tools mounting them.4. The rated PSI is 40-60 not 75 as is indicated in the product listing.5. They inflated fine and ride nice.After all of this, I would not buy these again. The size is not what I was looking for and the quality(tightness when mounting and wandering reflective stripe) is less than I would desire. If I had paid full price for them I would have returned them.

These are the third set of CST or Cheng Shin Tires I've bought, so far they have all been excellent and a great value.Apparently it is fairly common in the tire industry to advertise tires of a given width, when they are actually smaller to make them spec lighter. I doubt anyone shopping for a tire like this would care all that much, but this tire is certainly not 1.75" wide. I'd say it is closer to 1.5", maybe 1.6" at best.The reflective stripe is really not put on uniformly at all... it wanders all over the place which makes it look unbalanced, even if the runout is alright. I remounted, and re-inflated a few times before noticing the line varied in distance from the tread and the bead. Not really a big deal, but if they had to do it, I wish they did it right.On the up side, these tires have a kevlar belt to help reduce punctures which is great as this bike is ridden through city streets and along road shoulders generally. Completely superficial, but the tread pattern is nice looking as well. It rolls smoothly and quietly, but it's still big enough to ride comfortably. Plus they're pretty cheap!

These tires are perfect. They mount easily and securely, they roll smoothly and they are very responsive to rider inputs on the street; a very nice tire for mountain bikes that are used on the street. And they have a very attractive, aggressive looking tread pattern. The tread is also reasonably thick and shouldn't be terribly susceptible to punctures. The reflective sidewalls are a nice bonus.
