The multi award winning City Mini captures the essence of urban mobility. Its lightweight design makes it perfect for running errands or all day excursions in the urban jungle. The City Mini features patented quick fold technology with removable auto lock to keep stroller closed when folded, accessory mounting bracket, 8" quick release wheels with sealed ball bearings, front wheel suspension and a swivel front wheel that can lock into place for long distance strolling. The padded seat reclines to a near flat position in one step and features a vented seat top to increase airflow within the stroller and retractable weather cover. Also featured is a large adjustable sun canopy with peek a boo windows, an adjustable five point safety harness with shoulder pads and buckle cover, large under seat basket, seat back storage compartment and rear parking brake, making the City Mini the ideal lightweight stroller that maintains all the safety standards and style you'd expect from Baby Jogger. Maximum weight capacity of the City Mini is 50 pounds. The City Mini is not intended for jogging.

After looking for a long time at different strollers, doing research and playing with different strollers in stores, I finally decided on the City Mini 2012. The main things I wanted in a stroller is one that is lightweight but sturdy, easy and smooth maneuverability, a big full sunshade, a full recline, easily folded, and one that does not take up my whole car's trunk the way the travel system stroller did. This stroller was everything I wanted and more! It's also easily cleaned, and the harnesses are sturdy and easily adjusted. I love it! When I got the box, I was worried because I saw that some assembly would be required. But without even looking at the instructions, I was able to put it together in just a couple minutes. We've had this stroller now for a few months and couldn't be happier!The only things about it that I wish were different is that it would come standard with a child tray and parent console and drink holder. But those accessories are available and easily attached. And actually, I'm glad that these features are optional, because we only attach them when we need/want to use them. When we're traveling and want to travel as light as possible, it's great to have the option of taking the attachments off.

By Great upgrades for the 2012
First of all, I had the britax b agile. I loved the stroller for some time. Until my daughter gained a couple pounds and when I would put her in the stroller the back rest would bend. Then the seat was not upright and she hated being in there.So I went for the city mini 2012. I bought it because the seat is firm and steady. It is also upright. The basket is bigger and more accesible than the 2011 city mini or b agile.The stroller is a little heavier than the b agile. I also like the handle bar it is made out of rubber not foam.What I dont like is the bar where the brake is. Its gets in the way and I have kicked it a couple of times. You cannot fold it when the brake is on for some reason.Overall great stroller not perfect though. I would recommend it.

This stroller is definitely awesome in terms of the look of it, which is sporty and cool, and also the smoothness of the stroll. when my kiddo was born I had a Graco Travel System and I hated the way it strolled, always getting stuck on the road. this is a totally different experience. I will have to say though, that sometimes when I'm in a rush and turning quickly, I feel like the stroller might tip over on its side. it's not as sturdy as the Graco (can't believe I'm complimenting the Graco!) now, maybe this is a result of the CM being a jogger and therefore not having the stability of 4 wheels. but I had to mention it because it's a factor. maybe the GT wheels have better stability? i don't know. the wheels are also a little squeaky, don't know if this is an individual problem with the stroller, I guess I'll contact them about that.i also had a maclaren for a little bit - so small and easy to fit through anything! so I'm not used to having to maneuver to get the back wheels out of standard size doors. that's kind of annoying sometimes. otherwise, i really love to CM 2012. they improved the basket accessibility so that's great, and I like the rubber handle- very comfortable, and the height is awesome. I'm 5'6" and my husband is 6', no problems with height, and no- the bar going across the bottom does not get in our way at all, we never bump into it. not sure why anyone would.
