Aloha from Molokai. I bought three of the Avenir Streetster tires for an up coming Trans America crossing. I was on a budget, and these tires prosmised dependable service, so I took a chance. I trained with these tires for two months prior to my trip, and put a little over a thousand miles on them. During my three month bike tour, I only had one flat, and never experienced any problems, even on some stretches of gravel and dirt roads. After more than 5,000 miles of riding, the tires still look almost new. These are in my opinion, the best street tires for the money.

I must say these are great tires and I did find them on Amazon but then searching else where I found that they could be purchased from Nigara Cycle Works for $13.58 so I purchased 4 and the shipping was only $9.88 for a total of $64.20 where if I would have purchased them from Amazon it would have been close to $100.00 for a savings of $35.80. Your choice Amazon or [...]Yes Amazon.com had Super saver shipping but that cost and more was built into the price of the tire so being they sell stuff from Nigara Cycle Works they should be competitive with or in line with who they are selling items through as far as I am concerned.

I have only put about 200 miles on these, but they are handling very well so far. Since I don't have the funds to get a nice road bike I wanted to retrofit my mountain bike for riding on the road. These did the trick beautifully. I used to have Walmart's No-Mor flats brand inner tubes and knobby tread which made riding to work a nightmare. Once I put green slime tubes and these tires on, I felt like I gained a ton of speed on my ride. For such a low price, I'm amazed at the quality of these tires. Just go ahead and buy them you know you want to. And I promise you that you will be pleased.
