Relatively light, high PSI, great in all conditions -- and thus far as puncture resistant as heavier tires.

I believe this is the 26" tire (ISO 40-559). I bought 4 direct from Nashbar so I was sure I was getting that size. Amazon should at least tell you the size of the tire in their description. My wife has been running these for a couple of years on her commuting bike with no flats. Now we are going to try these on our tandem where we have experienced blow-outs using lighter tires (twice).Pressure rating: 45 to 95 PSI (from the sidewall).Weight: 520 grams each (my measurement - average of 4).Opinion: These represent a good tradeoff among durability, weight and price for a commuting/touring tire. 95 PSI rating is hard to find in this size.Do not confuse the "Pro" with the Randonneur Cross tire. That one has a dual ridge around the middle that I did not like on the front on the road - it messes with the steering. Might be fine off the pavement. There are other Vittoria Randonneur tires too. Be sure you know exactly what you are buying.

I put this exact tyre on my 26 inch wheelbase touring bike in august 2009 and i have not looked back since. it has taken me as far as 2500 kilometers from prague to odessa in the ukraine along all sorts of surfaces, light trails, crappy roads and more. after my trip i kept the tyres on the bike because they are quite light and very puncture resistent. no need to go with the pro folding version, but it sure is a nice feature.Pros:- excellent weight to puncture protection ratio compared to schwalbe marathon- easy to transport as a spare since it folds- decent grip in most conditions- longevity (4500km so far and few signs of wear)Cons:- reflective strip around the tyre lost its shine pretty early in the game i dont like rolling with cat eyes, they unbalance the wheel and add to the spinning mass.would definitely recommend this to anyone serious about their cycling looking for alternatives to the big names, mainly schwalbe and continental. enjoy :)
