So I'm glad that I was able to find these red tires on Amazon. I ride a red 2001 Cannondale Super V 500, and I was trying to get tires that matched the frame. These did the trick, and now I have a urban-ready mountain bike that is only black and red. Combined with the Ergon GC3 grips, and Portland Design Works Radbot 1000, this bike is UNSTOPPABLE! When I ride my bike, little kids roll down windows in cars and laud my bike in all of its red glory.I recommend that you install these tires with the tread facing in the same direction, lest you come across as a fool.Remember, always wear a helmet because if you ride a bike with these tires, you are an example to society of a BIKING GOD, and all BIKING GODS can get into accidents!

Many years ago I had a pair of black C1218 on a MTB and I put well over 15,000 miles on them before they wore out. C1218 are very durable and resist punctures quite well. The tread is thick. This negatively affects the ride compared to other balloon tires, but the durability more than makes up for it.I put a pair of red ones on my motorized bicycle last year and first thing I noticed was all the O faces on rubberneckers. I've been flagged down by people asking me where to get these awesome tires, seen a kid get hit in the face with a football as I rode by because he stopped paying attention to a game of catch, seen people swerving in cars with people in the backseat practically licking windows. These tires look like candy and sure are sweet!
