This tape is the best leather tape I've found so far - quite flexible so that with a nice medium-hard (but not too hard) pull, it easily conforms to the curves of my drop handlebars. Also, the 'honey brown' is a perfect match for Brooks Honey saddles in terms of both color, texture and luster - far FAR better than Brooks' own bar tape. There's plenty of length in this bar tape too, so if you're old-school like me, you can do the figure-8 wrap around the brake levers and still have a few inches left over at the end. Perfect!The only thing to be careful of is that the sticky strip on the back is quite sticky and it can easily take off the bar tape's leather finish, but it's really only going to touch areas of the tape that are going to be covered anyway. Also, the sticky strip can tend to be off-center. Maybe this is a feature rather than a bug, as it allows me to really get a lot of overlap and still get the sticky surface to adhere to the bike rather than to the tape. When wrapping your handlebars, just look at how the sticky strip is centered on the bar tape and make sure you get both bar tapes the way you want them (so that the sticky part is going to be on the handlebar rather than on the leather) before you start wrapping.

Attractive, feels nice even without gloves, and matches my old Brooks saddle (helped by an added coat of mink oil, same as saddle). The leather was of high quality without any visible blemishes. Length was enough to wrap my bars with enough left over to put a strip behind the brake bracket - however, I added a set of brakes on the horizontal part of the handlebars, as well as some gel bar padding, so others' needs may differ. The edges are tapered slightly thinner and do not have any adhesive, so these tend to catch a little and roll up. Leather is less stretchy than other kinds of bar tape, so more care is needed in wrapping the bars. I finished the ends with waxed cotton thread instead of electrical tape.Overall, I like the look and feel. We'll see how it holds up with time. Ultimately, for $60 I could do the bars 4 times with padded "cork" tape, so I'm hoping it gets better with time and that I'll get many years of good use out of it.

I found Global's tape online a few years ago and haven't used another tape since. Not only do they offer a plethora of colours, it's easy to install and lasts forever (unless you want to change colours). Unlike the poor leather used by Brook's and the cheesy looking holes they've punched into the material, the Adarga leather looks sleek and stylish.On my training bike I've used their white tape for 2 seasons and it's held up in all weather conditions, hasn't discoloured because of sweat and has even survived a few crashes.Easily the best tape on the market!
