These tires came on my bike new. I have put 3100 road miles on them in 6 months, with only 2 flats, both pinch flats, caused by experimenting running lower pressure in them; at 135 PSI I have had no flats at all (I weigh 140 pounds, so running at 100 PSI seemed like a good idea until I had the pinch flats after hitting square-edge potholes with the rear tire). This is remarkable, as the edges of the roads in this college town are frequently littered with brown glass shards from broken beer bottles, presumably tossed out of car windows. The front tire still has the mold parting line in the center of the tread slightly visible; the rear tire shows more wear with a slight flattening of the profile across the slick center part of the tread; there is unnoticeable wear in the textured "leaning" area of the profile on either tire, but I live in Florida, with few hills and high-speed turns and rarely exceed 30 mph. I just swapped the front tire with the rear to equalize wear; looks like they will easily reach 5000-6000 miles; maybe more.At 135 psi, the ride is a little vibratory on chip-seal roads with coarse gravel, but very good on most other roads; rolling resistance seems quite low to me. At my weight I would prefer to run less air, but we have a number of potholed roads around here, and pinch flats are as much a nuisance to change as any others. Both my flats on the rear were uneventful; the tire stayed on the rim and was undamaged by running flat. On the few occasions I have ridden in the rain, these tires demonstrated good traction in both braking and cornering, even though they are essentially "slicks"; they run very quietly on a smooth road. They are molded very true; spin the wheel and you see no "wobble" or "out-of-round" in the tread. I would not hesitate to replace these tires with the identical product based on how well they have worked for me so far.

This is the second set of these that I have purchased in the last 2 years. The first set were used on a cross country (USA) bike tour covering 3700 miles. Not a single issue...never even had 1 flat. Great handling in the mountains (rain, snow) and did great in the heat (desert). Not only do they look great, they have incredible grip on wet surfaces (concrete, asphalt). Not once did I ever have to worry about loosing traction on a corner at high speeds.Get yourself a set today, you won't be dissapointed!

I bought these tires for my road bike to replace some worn out gatorskins. I had 3 priorities when looking for my tires: 1. They must last - as a student, I can't afford new tires twice a season. The other reviews state that these tires hold up very well. I can't comment on this yet, but I hope to get at least one to two seasons out of them. 2. They must hold up to rocks, as I have a tendency to hit them. After one quick ride, I had no immediate issues, and don't think I will. 3. They need to be fast. These tires definitely fit the bill - its like riding on air, both comfortable and quick rolling. I have no complaints so far. They are a steal here, as they cost over $60 per at my LBS. If you're looking for a tire that will hold up for training, and is quick enough to race on, these tires fit the bill, for a great price.UPDATE: After over 500km of riding, I'm still in love. I've only had 2 flats: 1 pinch flat when switching between a trainer tire and putting this back on, and 1 nail through the tire.Update 2: Now have ridden over 3500km on these tires, and they are still in excellent shape. I will definitely buy these tires again: not a single flat in over 3000km. I'm 175 and ride at 120psi. In comparison to some Michelins I have on another bike, these are 100x better.
