Had used one on my Trek1000 for a while and decided to get another one for longer rides. Replaced my frame mounted pump and they look great together! Holds most size bottles and never launched one.

Yeah, it's ok. It looks nice, and certainly feels light (though I didn't weigh it so I can't vouch that it meets its advertised weight)...It launched a bottle on me when I hit an inch and a half high break in the pavement at about 12 miles an hour. I don't think this would hold your bottles securely were you racing the cobblestones of Belgium, or just riding on a less than ideal street. Really, once you launch one bottle, and have to stop, circle around, unclip and pick it up, you will wish that you either bought a more expensive carbon fiber cage that has a strap that holds the middle of the bottle, or that you bought a cheaper, heavier cage.

purchased 2 cages last year to put on my new Giant Advanced SL 2. They worked flawlessly. They didn't drop a bottle once all year. I raced over pave, gravel and some pretty bumpy roads. So they are Light weight, stylish and affordable. You can't lose.
