Good tire as far as I can tell. Increased my speed from 16 mph constant speed on mountain knobs to 20 mph constant speed on flat roads with no effort at all.

Bought this tire to convert my Trek 820 mountain mike to an urban commuter. Rode approx. 1,500 miles in 6 months with tires inflated to 80psi. Have had *NO* flats, and tires still look like new. I can maintain good speed on bike path I take (I rarely get passed) and really have no complaints at all. The facts speak for themselves, these are very good tires.

I've ridden anywhere from 2600-4000 miles these last 2 years commuting and touring on these tires. For the first year, I had ZERO flats and not for lack of trying. My town is full of hard dirt roads, jagged rock, broken glass and a host of other traditional enemies to tires and tubes. These slicks weathered them all. They performed flawlessly on a short 5-day, 450 mile tour without a single issue. Also used these to ride some cyclocross with a friend...and they cornered and kept up with his continentals, no problem) I have had a grand total of 1 replacement tube go in these...and that was thanks to a inch-long carpet nail that found it's way through the tire. I've discovered that as long as I run these at a fairly high pressure for my commuter/tourer (Kona Sutra w/700c Mavic A719 on the front and a WTB dual duty 29er wheel on the back), say around 55-65 psi, then I have very few problems. What more can one ask from a bike tire for this price (they were $17 a piece, tough to beat) that have lasted for this long and with this few sets of problems. As for rolling resistance, these were great in my eyes...though my bike isn't built for speed...it's built to haul, just like these tires.
